The first Various Opportunities for Work and Study in Canada, or VOWS in Canada, is jointly organized by Hi-World Consultancy Services and Empatya International Consultancy, Inc. The event aims to inform Filipinos of different professions and backgrounds about their various pathways to Canada through current available employment and educational programs.

VOWS will be held on July 30, 2011 at the CAP Family of Companies, General Luna St., Ilo-ilo City, from 9:00 a.m. The conference fee is P300 which includes lunch and snacks.

The event will feature guest speakers from Canada. Mr. Mahir Desai, CEO and President of ACTIVE Worklink, will give a talk about study and work opportunities, while Ms. Pam Hudson, CEO and President of Proevents, will talk about study programs.

Other talks will include a discussion of a new program called the Arranged Employment Opinion (AEO) and permanent residency programs for nurses in Ontario and Nova Scotia.
